To the north is the William and Mary Davy House (No 9), of the 1830's. This structure is another
example of the domestic type typical to Bath, the small size and symmetrical facade is
like the Rose (No 1), the Hawley (No 2), and the Van Luven (No 3) Houses. The original
structure was clapboard, without a porch, and contained a transom above the door.
Immediately south is the United Church Manse (No 10),
home of Methodist and United Church ministers for over 100 years. Across Queen St. is the
John Thurston House of 1841 (No 11), one of the
two structures left in the block after the disastrous 1942 fire.
