NEW
BUSINESSES IN BATH
The
Fairfield-Gutzeit Society is happy to welcome the arrival of three new stores
in Bath during 2005. We wish them
every success.
·
We
are delighted that THE MEGA DOLLAR STORE and its proprietors, Tim and
Sara Daignault, chose Bath for their new store. It’s on Main Street, next to the Post Office, and has a
great variety of dollar items along with a small gift store in the back. Hours: Monday-Saturday 9:00-6:00, Sunday 10:00-4:00.
·
How
wonderful, the arrival of a much-needed pharmacy! ORCHARDS PHARMACY is located at 368 Main Street,
corner Davy. Manager/Pharmacist,
Andrew Hollett, recently arrived from Newfoundland, explains that the store is
primarily a dispensary but also sells popular over-the-counter items such as
vitamins, facial tissues etc.
Orchards provided Bath with its first flu shot clinic. The level-entrance doorway is accessed
from the parking lot at the rear of the Loyalist Centre. Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00.
·
HERONWATER ANTIQUES AND COLLECTIBLES opened this past summer, another delightful
place in which to browse and shop.
Congratulations to its proprietors – Allan Ball, Anne Douglas, Sondra
Elliott and Heather Sutherland.
The shop features a wonderful variety of antiques and collectibles. For this Christmas season there are
one-of-a-kind crystal icicles by a Toronto artist. Heronwater is at 365 Main Street (between the Veterinarian
and the Creamery). Hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
11:00-5:00, or by appointment, 352-5177.
