WHAT IS THE BATH TOWN HALL?

The Town Hall is Bath' s most classical building. It was completed in 1861, its Tuscan Portico is a feature patterned after the monuments in Rome. It served as municipal offices of the Village of Bath for over a century until they were moved to the former school on Academy Street about 1975. The Town Hall is now a self-sufficient operation providing a meeting place for village groups and activities for a low rental fee.
